Solskensolympiaden

Solskensolympiaden is the permanent exhibition at Riksidrottsmuseum about the 1912 Olympic Games in Stockholm. Inspired by Stockholm Stadium, the exhibition recreates the festive atmosphere of that summer through historic objects, film, sculptures and interactive sports activities.

Visitors meet 13 of the Games’ heroes through sculptures by Lehna Edwall and film portraits by Jens Lind. The exhibition opened on 7 July 2026.
